Major Responsibilities/Results/Outputs:
General Function & Responsibility- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the planning, implementation, and migration of both the network circuits and premises equipment requirements associated with an Avaya voice network application of advance IP services.
- Responsibilities include engineering and technical support of voice network changes including administration and maintenance of PBX switch translations, Network Routing Translations, and ARS Trunk Translations.

Job Responsibilities:- Primary responsibility-to provide senior level engineering, design and tier-4 technical support for the configuration, installation, and problem management of the Enterprise Network Netscreen and Nokia (with Checkpoint Firewall software) firewall infrastructure deployed within the Internet, Extranet, and Intranet environments. The infrastructure includes Netscreen, Nokia, and Check Point Firewalls.

Position Description:
Financial Systems act as liaisons between accountants and programmers to design specifications and make enhancements to existing systems. They are also responsible for running the existing daily, weekly and monthly interfaces form the various Oracle Feeder Systems into the General Ledger as well as numerous interfaces from external systems. These systems include the Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Projects Module, Oracle Accounts Payable, Oracle Inventory, PowerPlant Fixed Assets, PeopleSoft Payroll. Analysts must understand how these systems function on a business level so that they can assist the clients in solving problems such as out of balance conditions and reacting to changing business requirements. On a technical level analysts must know the underlying data structures of these systems in order to access the underlying information.
Analysts are called upon to develop applications and reports, on all platforms that are outside of the IT development environment or assist IT in the development or upgrading of significant corporate systems. Typically this includes utilizing the Company standard systems development methodology and project management tools. Analysts have participated as team members in several significant IT projects.
Financial Systems may assist IT in modification JCL and production schedules for running processes and reports. Analysts are on call at night and weekends and must be familiar with the production jobs and may assist in restoration of data when jobs fail. An understanding scheduling software CA-7 for Mainframe and USCC for Midrange applications are necessary.
Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree (or progress toward) in Computer Science or Accounting with 1-3 years experience in various disciplines within the Information Technology area. An understanding of Oracle Financial Software including knowledge of Oracle Database file structures and data retrieval techniques is desired. Knowledge of application programming languages such as SQL, HTML, and Visual Basic and strong MS excel and MS Access are required. A working knowledge of Great Plains, Monarch, Mark 4 and TOAD are helpful.
